I am a resident of Delhi and  in 2009, I had the chance to go to Chandigarh to attend a marriage party. I was very fond of attending Satsang and somehow, I got the address of a Satsang in Chandigarh and I decided to attend this Satsang. 

I  attended the Satsang at Sector 18, Chandigarh and got glimpse of the main preacher, (Called Sant Ji ). After the Satsang, Sant Ji  gave his personal time to me for about one hour and discussed about my past, my likings and family etc. I answered all the questions honestly. After I left the place, I found myself in different level altogether with the peace and confidence I found in myself for the whole day. Next day also, I attended the same Satsang again and the same phenomenon happens to me again after the Satsang for the whole day. After two days at Chandigarh, I returned back to Delhi. 

Even in Delhi,  I keep  myself in contact with Sant Ji on phone regularly  and keep on taking Sant Ji guidance on many personal issues of mine. 

Then I decided to pursue the spiritual journey with Sant Ji and whenever I got holidays from office. I go to Chandigarh to meet Sant Ji and spend most of the time with him. On coming in close contact with Sant Ji ,I noticed  that Sant Ji has down to earth personality and is the classic example of making the good balance between their devotees and their family members. Also Sant Ji has a popular Book Shop in Chandigarh where he works like a classical shopkeeper and earns money just like common persons. For understanding a person, we cannot understand just by his actions, we need to go deeper and see the other persons intentions and many times I found Sant Ji intentions are very pious. However, from Sant Ji actions, he looks like a ordinary man and there seems to be no extraordinary in him. By looking at his personality or body profile or daily routine, it is not easy to consider him as a spiritual Guru. To understand Sant ji, I need to attend his Satsang because at Satsang only, I came to know how much Sant Ji is influenced by his Guru, Dada Laxami Bhagwan.  I have read some books about Dada Laxami Bhagwan in Delhi and was aware of her teachings in advance. I got very impressed with the dedication Sant Ji has for his Guru and I decided to have the same dedication for my Guru i.e Sant Ji. I took audio recording of my Gurus Satsang and I listened most of my Guru Satsang and also kept meeting him personally time to time in Chandigarh. As per the Guru characteristics, His Satsang will have the corresponding particularities  and I noticed some peculiar things about Sant Ji Satsang which I am narrating  here point by point. 

1) The basic purpose of Guru is to give Moksha (Liberation) and our Satsang is also towards that and books which are read and followed in the Satsang is ‘BHAGWAT GEETA, ASHTAWAKAR GEETA AND VANI OF THE GURUS’. The beauty of our Satsang is that it also ensure good living , happy life and carried out this activity without disturbing your daily routine i.e your job/ shop and your family life is intact. Apparently, there is nothing special to be done for the Satsang except listening to Satsang for approx.. one hour in a day.

2) There is no advertisement for the Satsang and all the devotees come with the reference of other. There is no separate Satsang for gents and ladies. 

3) The gathering of Satsang is very limited and is mostly confined to 20-50 persons. Sant Ji is aware of each devotee by devotees name, nature and about his/ her family. Since Sant Ji is aware of Prakarti of their devotees, he always comes out with a practical solution for any problem faced by his devotees. 

4) Sant Ji process of giving Satsang is very particular and He ensure that everybody must be attentive all the time while listening the Satsang and he keep on asking many clarifications/ questions in between the Satsang from the devotees.  

5) Sant Ji is very particular about the Truth. He always used to say that speak only the truth and from where you are at present. He fires very strongly in case he found that someone is trying to show himself/ herself as good and is not truthful.

6) I have a bad habit of listening to different Satsang on youtube like of OSHO, Bramkumaris, Sandeep Maheshwari, Isha,  Zorba the Zen, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar etc.. On comparing my Guru Satsang with all other Satsang, Following observations are made. (Although it is not a good habit to compare the different Satsang but I do not know how I got trapped in it.)

a) It is noticed that every Satsang says to do something either do meditation, or pranayam  or Chanting or dance etc. but my Guru Satsang is unique where there is nothing to be done. The only requirement is to listen to Satsang everyday attentively for one hour and that’s all. So it is very easy.

b) It is noticed that in many other Satsang, there are some particular identification symbols for the devotees or there are some rules and regulations i.e some does and don’t. but in my Guru Satsang, there is complete freedom and there is no Does and Don’ts. This is  as seen from outside but from inside, the devotee is always hooked with his Guru.

c) I found that in every other Satsang, there are large gathering and there is few scope of interaction with Guru. Also  as per my understanding , as the gathering increases, the level of Satsang decreases. So in our Satsang with limited gathering, the quality and level of Satsang is very high.

d) Almost in all other Satsang, the main methodology is Gyan Yog where the focus is on Gyan teaching and the devotees are to work on themselves to implement this Gyan. But our Satsang is unique which is primarily  based on Bhakti Yog where Sharddha is required for Guru (and in fact Sharddha also gets developed in devotees in few days). Now there is no worry for implementing the Gyan on self and just the devotee should listen the Satsang attentively and automatically the spiritual progress kept on.

e) My Guru Satsang has very practical Gyan particularly for married people & joint families. All the examples used in discourse are of day to day working in the family.  

Sant Ji has no Ashram or Satsang Hall. The existing Satsang is carried out at a room of the private residential house of Sant Ji. Also the Prasad/food is distributed after the Satsang without any charges from any devotee. Sant Ji also keeps on going for the outstation trips to Manali, Vrindavan etc along with devotees as a spiritual journey.

Now, just to summarize, Sant Ji Satsang is a unique Satsang of its own where there is no Karam Kande like chanting, meditation, prayer or pranayama and no donation etc. and the examples are taken from day to day life. Also there will be no change in your daily routine and you will still continue to live with your family members and doing your job and hobbies in parallel. In fact, the Satsang will help in improving your relationship within your family members and with your office staff. 

Now, just a final advice, there are different types of Satsang. It is important to choose a good Satsang but it is far more important to finally get attached to one Satsang only.  So spend initial few days for selecting the Satsang and thereafter whatever you have selected, please continue that without looking here and there. 

I apologize the devotees of other Satsang if in case any of the remarks about their Satsang in this note has pinches you as my intention was not to degrade any Satsang but is to tell the salient point of my Guru Satsang only.
